    We have been learning about the Great Kapok Tree with Liz and Devinder. We danced and sung to the beat of the drums and we even saw some real Kapok. We had a lot of fun!

     

    Alex remembered that without any trees the world would look blank and plain it is important that we don't cut down all the trees.

    Today Reception children were enthralled with the wonderful stories shared by Barbara Swales from Warwickshire Library Service. Why not encourage your child to 'get lost in a book'? Keep the library service by using your library card & encourage a love of learning through a love of books. 
  • Lunchtime Behaviour Awards

    Our School Council led a successful assembly today. They recapped on the progress of the Lunchtime Behaviours project and encouraged everyone to work together to have the cleanest floor, the best sitting and particularly the quietest tables.
  • ICT Mark Success

    Congratulations Whitestone! A big well done to everyone on achieving re-accreditation of the ICT Mark for the third time. Miss Edge and the E-safety committee led the school to it's success. Many thanks to Mr Flint (Computing and E-safety governor) and Mrs Chandler (parent) who were interviewed during the assessment on Friday. Mr Davis, the assessor, was extremely impressed by the curriculum, the standards achieved by children and the expectations of all staff.no
