• Mosque Visit

  Yesterday Year 1 children were warmly welcomed on a visit to Nuneaton Mosque. I was so proud of our Whitestone children who showed great respect in the beautiful surroundings. Yasim, our guide, made the visit fun and extremely informative. The children really appreciated the refreshments too . 

• George Eliot Workshop

  John Burton, from the George Eliot society, impressed Year 1children with his knowledge of the local author. The children were amazed to see and touch items belonging to the author. Definitely a memorable experience for all involved and true curriculum enrichment!

• Road Safety Competition Success!

  Jacob Cartwright, Class 5, won the national road safety poster design competition . His design has been turned into a banner by Recognition Express and he was awarded a fabulous trophy! All children at Whitestone have been given a high-visibility bag. Well done for participating everyone.
