Child Protection & Safeguarding

This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All adults are required to take all welfare concerns seriously and to encourage children and young people to talk to them about anything that worries them. Staff will always act in the best interest of children.

If you have a concern about a child please contact one of the Safeguarding Personnel (see link below).

All parents & volunteers who wish to work within the school on a regular basis must take part in our safeguarding induction programme. This will involve having a meeting with Mrs Green (DSL), completion of a questionnaire, reading key documentation and signing to show understanding of the documentation and compliance with all child protection and safeguarding requirements of Whitestone.  We value all of the voluntary support we receive.  Please contact the school office if you wish to be considered as a volunteer.
