Biggest Ever Football Session
Some of our Year Two girls took part in this year's Biggest Ever Football Session. On International Women's Day, the girls took part in the session which aimed to give girls equal access to football and the children were very excited to be taking part and contributing to #LetGirlsPlay. This year, over 300,000 girls took part in the event!
The aim of The Biggest Ever Football Session is to develop innovative ways to deliver football for girls, improving participation from their very first experience; creating an active and confident generation of inspired female footballers, coaches, officials, leaders, activists and marketeers.
The girls took part in a number of football activities and they worked on their shooting, dribbling and defending skills. They had a great day and left the session feeling very inspired to play football outside of school! Well done girls!
