Today Year One were visited by Registered Nurse Young who works at Sandwell & West Birmingham Hospitals.
He taught us all about medicine and that they are not sweets but they can help us if we are poorly.
Next he described how the flu nasal spray will be given later this year and why it is so important to be vaccinated.
Finally he explained about some of the safety labels that are on bottles that we find at home and what to do if we come into contact with them.
The children really enjoyed sharing their experiences about being poorly and how they got better. A huge thank you to Nurse Young for giving up your precious time to come and visit us.
