• Wonderful Violin Assembly

  Yesterday, the whole school and parents were treated to a wonderful Violin Assembly by five of our super Year 2 children. They performed beautifully under the guidance of Mrs O' Hagan, their violin teacher from County Music Service. The parents & staff were very proud of them. Well done!

  

• Moderation Success

  During the last seven days we have had two Statutory Moderation Visits from the Local Authority as part of the four yearly cycle for schools. I am pleased to say that both the EYFS and Year 2 teachers had all of their judgements upheld. Both moderators commended the teachers on how well they knew their children, the wealth of evidence that had been collated and for their organisation of the evidence. 

  A HUGE thank you must go to staff for their amazing work and the day to day dedication they show at school.  

• New Parents Meeting & induction visits

  It was so lovely to welcome our new parents to Whitestone last Thursday. Once again our parents did us proud with such a fantastic turn out. 

  We have also enjoyed hosting some story times with Mrs Hyde & Mrs Green. The children have been delightful!
