Absence Procedure
Regular, punctual school attendance is an essential part of good education and we place a high priority on encouraging this good practice at Whitestone.
The promotion of good attendance is very important and is a factor in maintaining and raising standards for all pupils. All stakeholders must take responsibility for promoting good attendance. At Whitestone good attendance is considered as 95% and above.
If any child is absent the parent/carer is asked to notify the school of a child’s absence by telephone on the first day of absence.
