Whitestone Infant School is one of the many schools in Warwickshire which is part of Warwickshire's Safe and Active Travel. This is to promote active journeys to school for many reasons.

Whitestone Infant School takes part in a number of initiatives in order to receive these awards

| The children log how they travel to school each day. The more active journeys they do, the more monthly badges they receive. | |
| Sustrans have an annual fortnight where they encourage travelling to school by walking and wheeling. The more the children active travel, the more likely the school will win prizes. |
Each class has a named safe and active travel representative to help promote safe and active representative in their classes
