We recognise that parents and carers have a great deal to offer our school and we warmly encourage you to get actively involved with school life at Whitestone Infant School.
Parent and carer volunteers can get involved in many different ways from reading with children to help with running clubs.
Volunteering at school benefits your children and the whole school. It also shows your children the importance of participating in the community and affirms your interest in their development. Volunteering at school is rewarding – you can gain first hand understanding of your child’s daily activities, gain valuable experience and get to know staff and other parents better.
Please note:
This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff, volunteers and parents to share this commitment.
All volunteers will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check, attend a safeguarding induction meeting with the Headteacher and agree to our volunteer code of conduct
If you have time and skills you feel you can offer the school as a volunteer please fill out this form and Mrs Knox will be in touch very soon!
