We follow an extensive Online-Safety curriculum which ensures progression through the Foundation Stage and KS1. Online-Safety is mostly taught within Computing lessons as children are gaining hands on experience, as well as whole school assemblies, competitions and special days.

Online-Safety Policy

The Online-Safety policy is written along side the Safeguarding policy and is updated annually.

Parent Support

In school children are taught how to keep safe online and how to deal with unwanted messages and images. This can continue at home with the help of the following websites which offer advice and guidelines for parents.

  • Staying Safe Online Staying safe online, children enjoy using the internet to keep in touch with friends, catch up with the latest apps and online trends, and playing their favourite games. The team looks at how parents and carers can help and support them.
  • CEOP For advice, help or to make a report visit our safety centre
  • Internet Matters Internet Matters is a not-for-profit organisation working with online safety experts to bring you all the information you need to keep your children safe online.
