    The engineers have successfully resolved the issues with the boilers and school will re-open tomorrow - Thursday 21st December

  • Emergency school closure

    URGENT NOTIFICATION – EMERGENCY SCHOOL CLOSURE

     

    Whitestone Infant School will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday 20th December as a result of having no heating & hot water due to a broken boiler.

     

    Unfortunately we need to advise parents of the closure of Whitestone tomorrow.

     

    The school heating system failed this afternoon. Engineers have been onsite this evening and have not been able to repair the boiler. Unfortunately we must close the school tomorrow. Hopefully the engineers will be able to fix the heating system so that we can open our doors again on Thursday.

     

    This means we must make changes to tomorrow’s scheduled events:

     

    • Class 2’s Nativity will now take place on Friday 22nd December at 9.30am.
    • Sign & Sign Club’s performance for parents will now take place on Thursday 21st December at 2.45pm.
